In the year 2020 , I took over as the Deputy Principal of Sri/Dutugamunu National School, which is located in a rural environment in the Nochchiyagama area of the historic Anuradhapura district. During the time of working in this school my intention is to give priority to the children's education and sharpening the ability and interest to give birth to a child suitable for the world of work. My aim is to brighten the future of each children by identifying their various talents , Being born in a rural environment , growing up in it and dying in it is an experience faced by many rural people.The children of my school should look at the world in a new way and show their talents in front of the world. 

I wish from the bottom of my heart that the dear sons and daughters of Dutugamunu Mata will have the ability and strength to follow that path in the new environment .
